HI, I am MAIA

While I spent last ten years capturing love across Canada, from Calgary to the Rocky Mountains, my journey with photography began back home in Slovenia and Croatia.

Past 15 years, I’ve been a full time wedding and portrait photographer, documenting love stories around the world but mostly here in Canada (Banff, Canmore & Calgary) and back home in Europe.

I infuse my work with emotion and beauty, while drawing on my art and architectural background to shape every frame. I aim to give you more than images — I want to create artwork that speaks to your essence, tells a deeper story, and protects the memories that should never fade.

In 2026:

• I’ll be offering more portrait and branding sessions in Calgary. After all, we all need to update our photos every now and then!
• I’ll be opening additional wedding dates in Europe — especially in Italy, Austria, Croatia, and of course, Slovenia.
