To fully document the story of the day, I arrived an hour earlier than originally planned to capture getting-ready moments in Flores and Pine’s beautifully designed bridal suite. The space is calm, bright, and elegant — perfect for candid, emotional photographs.
The bride and her bridesmaids spent the morning laughing, sharing quiet moments, and easing into the day together. These slower, intimate moments are often some of the most meaningful, and the natural light in the bridal suite created a timeless, editorial feel to the images.
A Ceremony by the Outdoor Fireplace
The ceremony took place outdoors, in front of Flores and Pine’s large fireplace, creating a warm and inviting focal point for the celebration. The setting felt intimate and personal, surrounded by nature while still feeling refined and thoughtfully designed.
September weather in Calgary couldn’t have been better — cool, comfortable, and softly lit — allowing the couple and their guests to fully enjoy the ceremony without distraction.

After the ceremony, we stayed just around the corner of the restaurant for bridal party portraits and bride and groom photos. This area offers clean architectural lines and natural textures, making it ideal for timeless wedding portraits without needing to travel far or disrupt the flow of the day.
Keeping portraits close to the venue allowed the couple to remain present with their guests while still receiving a full, relaxed portrait gallery.
